Webinar: The State of Online Freight 2025
Instant quoting is now common among top forwarders and carriers. Join our April 30th webinar for insights on how LSPs are using it to enhance service, build relationships, and grow with SMB shippers.
Webinar
For the past ten years Freightos has been tracking the development of online freight sales.
While no forwarder or carrier offered instant online freight quotes in 2015, this year’s survey found that half of the top forwarders and four of the five largest ocean carriers now offer instant quoting.
But while many use online quotes to attract new customers, others are leveraging it to improve customer experience for their existing shippers, in this still very much relationship-based industry.
In this webinar, conducted on April 30th at 10:00am ET, Judah Levine, Head of Research, and Wayne Tyndall, SVP Forwarders and Airlines, presented survey highlights and explored:
- How online sales represent a unique opportunity for forwarders serving SMB shippers
- LSP and shipper attitudes toward digital freight
- How forwarders are navigating the introduction of tech in a relationship-based business
- The innovative ways LSPs are leveraging digital quotes, including as a platform for premium products, upsells, and other features aimed at making the relationship sticky
- How online sales represent a unique opportunity for forwarders serving SMB shippers
